12 oz. Wheel thrown abraded texture mug. Blue & orange

$89.00
sold out

Sanding back through multiple layers of white, blue and orange slips results in a rich modeled surface (and a slightly more expensive mug;)

Inspired by the weathered painted layers of old buildings here in Helena, Montana. Blue Interior and foot ring. Lip, handle and foot are a silky slate green/grey. Post firing wet sanding results in a finish that feels smooth like a weathered river stone. 3.5 in. tall, 12 oz.
