"10.5 in. "FUUUUUUUUCK" dinner plate

It’s OK, I get it… you find yourself saying this way more often than you used to… crazy times. I like how at a glance, the pattern created by all of those U’s brings to mind fish scales.

Clear glaze seals over the crackle slip, resulting in a fully functional dinner plate. Abraded orange, red and grey slip at the rim (sealed with food safe Liquid Quartz), off white glaze at the foot well. Network of crackle slip fissures reveal the pattern. Approx. 10.5 in. across.

All of my work that features crackle slip is priced a bit higher than other pieces… it requires extra steps, and an extra firing. There is also substantial time involved with creating the imagery. Plates are wheel thrown and trimmed

Food, dishwasher and microwave safe …

*Although rare, heating in microwave for long periods may result in uneven temps and result in cracking. 20-30 seconds to reheat your sticky bun is totally fine, though I wouldn't recommend using this plate to "cook" food in a microwave.
