Wheel thrown abraded slips teapot with three (to four) finger “Oval” handle. silky slate knob, handle, spout and foot. A base layer texture is applied, then three layers of white, orange and blue colored slips are painted on. Once the pot has dried, it is sanded through, revealing the texture and colors underneath. Once fired, it is wet sanded once more to give it a nice weathered stone feel in the hands.
