Most of you who follow me have said these words at some point over the past 10 years. The name is redacted from view until the temperature hits 90 + (coffee and tea) and the redaction disappears in seconds revealing the “protected” person’s name. See my Instagram post to see it in action.

These crackle pieces have several extra steps, and a third firing involved in the making process compared with my other work, and this model features an expensive disappearing ink with a clear coat, which boils down to more $$ on your end to cover the additional time / expense.

Red stoneware dipped in white crackle slip, then bisque fired a second time. Clear glaze with black interior and foot ring. 3.75 in. tall, it holds 14 ounces.

food safe, but I recommend hand wash only to protect the redaction

*This stoneware contains red iron which can heat up in a microwave causing hot handles, nuke with caution. 30-60 seconds to reheat coffee is fine.
