WAY BACK WHEN: the archive
These are selected pieces that I made throughout the 90s. Most are from the four exhibitions that I was fortunate enough to have with Garth Clark Galleries in New York and Los Angeles. Between construction and glazing, most of these pieces required between 50-60 hours to make. Many of these pots utilize springs, turnbuckles, lazy susan bearings, and hinged lids as part of their function. In the years since making this body of work, I have focused on making functional everyday pottery that is affordable to more people and less time consuming to make.
